Linus the lemur

I’m Linus, a lemur in grey and white hue,
With a long pointed snout and a face black-and-white too.
My tail’s ringed in stripes, swaying high in delight,
And I sometimes go hunting beneath the soft night.

From Madagascar I hail, that lush island so grand,
Just off Africa’s coast, my beautiful homeland.
With golden eyes shining, I’m small and I’m spry,
Silky-soft, warm, and friendly to those passing by.
